Delaware Law School Associate Professor Geeta Kohli has authored a new installment of her "Defining Money" publication as part of the Narrative Justice Project's Financial Literacy Initiative. This project recently secured funding from Sakhi for South Asian Survivors to continue providing free, online finance and business law education resources.

Widener recognized the Homecoming Court and crowned Homecoming Royals during the 2025 Homecoming celebrations. Rashem Bryant and Maritza Garcia were crowned the 2025 Homecoming Royals and were joined on the Court by Tamiya Anderson, Tavia Fair, Nyla Hyman, Aniya Moore, Saleeth Ulloa Lasso and Amanda Rappa.

During the 2025 Homecoming festivities, Widener honored Vice President of Inclusion and Belonging Micki Davis with the renaming of the multicultural student lounge in the University Center to the Michelle M. Davis Belonging Lounge. Fred McCall, vice president of Student Engagement and Transformation, President Stacey Robertson, and alumna Eba Finger-Stentzel '18 were present for the celebrations and are quoted about Davis' impact on the Widener community.
